PAL's new Destination

Philippine Airlines has been providing services in many countries ever since the start. Just last year, November 30th to be exact, Philippine Airlines took its first 15-hour non-stop flight from Manila, Philippines to Toronto, Canada, making Toronto PAL's 26th international destination. According to Felix Cruz, PAL's vice president for marketing support, the new Manila-Toronto service is just a preview of the airline's expansion.

I was present at the airport when PAL first landed in Toronto. Even after a long 15-hour flight, I remember seeing the pilots and flight attendants coming out of the arrival sliding doors full of smiles. PAL has achieved many "first" in its history including Asia's first airline to cross the Pacific. I was glad to be there to witness PAL achieve another "first" in its history.
