Flying with PAL

As a passenger of Philippines Airlines, you have a choice of choosing a seat in the Mabuhay (Business) Class or the Fiesta (Economy) Class.

Regardless of where you're sitting, from cabin amenities, entertainment to food, PAL ensures you will experience a flight with great services.

Cabin Amenities: PAL does not only care about the passenger's safety, they also care for the passenger themselves, including skin care.

For those flying in the Mabuhay Class, PAL provides passengers with an overnight amenity kit, the Bally bag with Clarins skin care. The Clarins products such as hand cream and lip balm help the skin from becoming dehydrated during the flight. The amenity bag also contains other essential items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, a brush with a mirror, etc.

For those flying in the Fiesta Class, PAL also provides their passengers with an overnight kit. Although it may be smaller than the Mabuhay Class' overnight kit, it contains all the essential items a passenger will need during the flight. This kit includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, an eye mask and socks.

Entertainment: In the Mabuhay & Fiesta Classes, entertainment is provided for all passengers to enjoy. PAL's "Flight of Fancy" is an in-flight entertainment system that will keep you awake and away from boredom. It consists of Hollywood & Filipino movies, popular TV programs and radio channels.

Food: You won't go hungry when you're flying with PAL.

For those flying in the Mabuhay Class, passengers have a choice of Western, Filipino and Japanese dishes. This class offers alcoholic beverages.

For those flying in the Fiesta Class, passengers will taste dishes made by well known culinary personalities.

Passengers in both classes will have many beverage options, including soft drinks, tea and juices.

  1. PAL should be prosecuted for fraud, they don't use 777 on the LHR to MNL route but that is what they advertise, they now use old ex Iberia 340-300 that have been scrapped by Iberia, the food is also of a very low standard, PAL has now been brough back under the control of Tan, but don't expect it to change because it was just as bad when he had it years ago, do not expect the club class longes have any decent food, only stale sandwiches & poor quality drinks that I think is brewed by do it yourself companies.
They have got a notorious reputation for cheapness for the passengers, they are also about 300 pounds more expensive than most of the middle east carriers, who also offer a much more superior service, the only drawback being that you have to change planes, but if you fly club class you have access to their excellent lounges.
Never again, once bitten twice shy.
